Green River College’s 2+2 program lets students complete the first two years of their bachelor’s degree before transferring to top universities.*

Students have successfully transferred to top schools like Brown, Columbia, Cornell, and many more. Through our University Transfer Pathways (UTP) program, students can access conditional admission to over 40 partner institutions in the U.S. and abroad.

*Depending on placement, some students may take additional prep courses.

High School Completion for Motivated Students

At Green River College, qualified students (age 16+) can skip up to two years of high school, take college classes, and earn both a high school diploma and a two-year degree—saving time and money.

Dual Credit, Dual Degrees—Earn a high school diploma and associate degree in just two years. Some may need prep classes based on placement.

Get Ahead—Start college early, finish university faster, and apply to top schools—no SAT/ACT needed.

Intensive English Program

Green River College’s IEP prepares international students for U.S. college study through small classes, expert instructors, and personalized support. Students are placed by skill level after testing in listening, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary.

Advising & Student Life

At Green River, international students are assigned a dedicated advisor based on their major. Advisors offer personalized support with transfer planning, registration, cultural adjustment, university applications, and more.

Orientation

We offer new students both virtual and in-person orientation where we make sure students have the tools they need to be successful at GRC. We also organize fun day trips so students can participate in outdoor activities and make new friends.
